Rick Fecteau - President, Port City Auto Group

I started in the automobile business in 1967 as a service writer at a dealership in Washington D.C.. It has been a dream come true, to one day own my own successful family of dealerships, built upon the foundation which I value most, honesty, integrity and respect. It is a pure delight that I am able to live this dream with my entire family by my side.

When I am not at work: I always look forward to being on the water, whether for an hour or for the entire day. I love boating and fishing, both fresh and saltwater. Nothing else feels like being out on the open water. It is one of the few things that is as enjoyable by myself as it is with a group of friends or family aboard. On land, I enjoy golfing and playing tennis as well as spending time with my family and all of our dogs.

Jennifer Fecteau - General Manager, Port City Nissan/Suzuki

After graduating college, I was employed by Nissan USA. It was nice to come home to a place where I knew all of the employees by name and knew a bit about everyone too. Even though names and faces change over the years, there is no better feeling than knowing that you exist as a person and not just a number.

When I am not at work: Once the snow melts I just want to get outside! Whether it’s playing tennis, taking my lab Kobey, for a relaxing walk or lounging in the sun at the beach or the lake, I want to soak up every minute of it. I am an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan and try to take advantage of every opportunity to see a live game or watch them on TV. My biggest thrill of all is watching my precious niece, Lilia, grow a little more each day before my very eyes!

Kevin Shevelin - General Sales Manager, Port City Nissan/Suzuki

What I like about working at PCAG: I love the attention to detail and the focus on customer satisfaction.

When I am not at work: I enjoy being on the water, whether it is on the Piscataqua River or Lake Winnipesaukee. I am an avid sailor and fishermen (bluefin or stripers, your choice!). I also have a pair of rugby cleats that I am not afraid to use although my golf clubs and tennis racquet get more use! Given unlimited time and resources I would spend my life sailing in and around Turks and Caicos.

Rob Curry - Used Car Manager, Port City Auto Group

What I like about working at PCAG: The personal relationships that you develop within a family owned business, the quality of our products, and the contributions we make to our local communities.

When I am not at work: I enjoy motorcycling and most any automobile related event. In the winter, I like to go snowboarding with my friends anywhere from Maine to Colorado. I can also be found working on home Improvement projects and spending time outdoors with my fiance Christine and our dogs Kobey and Oliver.

What I like about working at PCAG: I love the commitment to customers and employees that Port City Auto Group has made. This is a great place to work. The people here are like my family.

When I am not at work: I have three kids, Adrianna (5), Samantha (4), and Marissa (2) so they keep me pretty busy! I live on the lake so I also enjoy fishing and being on the water when I am by myself. I also enjoy eating even though I am a small person. I love to eat new and interesting things.

Patrick Gannon - Sales Manager

What I like about working at PCAG: The people here are more like family than co-workers. Mixing that with a very fast-paced enviroment makes it feel less like work. The products are great, The programs are unbelievable, and the inventory is never ending.

When I am not at work: I spend the majority of my time with my wife Jamie, my two boys Michael and Liam and my two dogs Yogi and Jax. If we are not playing baseball, soccer, or basketball you can find us swimming in the pool in the summer, watching the Patriots on Sunday, or sledding and having snowball fights in the winter. The one hobby I have to myself is I am an avid poker player. My favorite is no limit hold-em, online or live tournaments.

Phillip Walter – Internet Manager

What I like about working at PCAG: I enjoy coming to work knowing that I am coming in to have fun and be amongst friends. This job doesn’t feel like work because interacting with my clients and the actual sales aspect of it are enjoyable for me and hopefully for them as well. I also know coming in every day that I will have a strong, competent and supportive team behind me.

When I am not at work: I am an avid cyclist and ride to work 350 days a year. During my winter hibernation I enjoy catching up on movies. Once winter is over, I like to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Thankfully, living in downtown Portsmouth affords me easy access to all types of fun stuff. I can easily pass a day lying on the beach with a good book. And let's not forget those Sox games, Standing Room cheap "seats" are where it's at. That's where the best crowd in the park is found!

When I am not at work: I was originally born in Guam, but I have lived in Portsmouth since I was very young. Aside from being an accomplished runner, I enjoy dining and experiencing a variety of nightlife both locally, and throughout the country.

What I like about working at PCAG: Two of the things that I like best about working for PCN are selling 2 great product lines at great prices and working for the Fecteau family who have given me every opportunity to excel in my field. 

When I am not at work: I am a big fan of being on the lake whether I am fishing, swimming, or just relaxing in the sun at Pawtuckaway State Park. I am also an accomplished cook and dart enthusiast. In the summer, I can also be found at Wallis Sands Beach or Pirates Cove, reading a Stephen King novel and getting red as a lobster. One thing most people don’t know about me is that I was an amazing mogul skier until an ACL injury put the kibosh on that dream.

What I like about working at PCAG: I have been selling cars for 10 years and it has been good to find a home with the Port City Auto Group. It is like a second family instead of a place of work. We treat the customers like family too!

When I am not at work: I really like to read a lot, especially fiction. When I have the time I also love to play golf, bowl, play pool, and poker. When the weather permits, I take my dog Gentle Ben for walks. By the way, he is 200 lbs. so donations of dog food are greatly appreciated.

What I like about working at PCAG: I enjoy working amongst seasoned employees who are well versed in the business and also kind enough to help train a new guy like myself. We all have fun together here, customers and employees alike, while still keeping a professional atmosphere and mindset.

When I am not at work: Having just moved to the area from Panama City, Florida, I usually spend my time off checking out local restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. Otherwise, I can be found jamming to all kinds of music in the big kitchen of my house in Madbury, cooking or baking up a storm for my roommates and friends. Stop by sometime! What I like about working at PCAG: I enjoy the fast paced enviroment and attention to detail as well as the high quality customer service. I also enjoy the positive, upbeat people that work here, and the vast inventory of quality vehicles. I've always said I love working with people and cars, so it's a win win for me.

When I am not at work: I enjoy relaxing with my girlfriend, friends, and family. I am also a big food lover, nothing better then throwing a good steak on the grill! In the winter I also enjoy going snowboarding in the white mountains whenever I can make the trip up.

When I am not at work: I have lived in Portsmouth since 1982 and I really enjoy the culture and history the area has to offer. The Seacoast Rep Theatre, The Music Hall and the great restaurants have quickly become my favorites. I also enjoy being outdoors, anything from working in the yard to weekends at the lake, reading a book at New Castle Commons, and enjoying the sunshine on “the decks” downtown with my friends. What I like about working at PCAG: I like working with all of the staff. They are all great people.

When I am not at work: Away from work I enjoy spending time with my wife Holly, my grandson Alex, who is a handful but keeps me young, and my son Patrick who is the driver for Tanguay Racing which is our family race team at Lee Speedway. I was also the President of the Southern Maine ATV Club and am still actively riding all over state. I am also active with Toys for Tots and raising money for American Cancer Society.

What I like about working at PCAG: Everyone is so nice here. I receive a lot of affection from employees and customers.

When I am not at work: I spend a lot of time at Port City Auto Group. I can usually be found sprawled out on Deb's desk or following Uncle Rick around, wherever he goes. I really enjoy having my hair done and playing with my friends. When I am not at work, I assume my role as master of the house and make sure that everyone is safe at all times. For my efforts, I get my belly rubbed.
