• What is actually covered?
  • The Powertrain Promise Warranty protects your vehicle’s powertrain – that includes the engine, turbocharger, transfer case, drive axle, transmission and many more parts. These are typically some of the costliest repairs for a vehicle.
• How much does it really cost me?
  • Nothing! The Powertrain Promise comes FREE with every eligible** new and pre-owned vehicle purchase exclusively at Port City Nissan.
• Are there any extra requirements to maintain the warranty?
  • As long as you follow the manufacturer’s published maintenance requirements you’re covered. The services must be performed within 1,000 miles of the 7,500 mile service intervals outlined on the service contract you will be provided with at time of sale
• Do I have to return to the dealership for repairs?
  • No, you don’t. We would love to see you AND your vehicle when it’s time for service, but as long as you have your vehicle repaired from any licensed repair facility, you’re covered. Make sure to save your receipts if you have maintenance performed somewhere other than Port City Nissan.
• What if I’m out of town and I need to get my vehicle looked at?
  • Not a problem. Simply have the work done at any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada and save the receipts.
• Is this a “real” warranty company?
  • Absolutely! Our Powertrain Promise Warranty is administered by Portfolio, a leading provider of vehicle service contracts.
